Donor Recognition at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem

American Friends of The Hebrew University and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem are honored to recognize the great community of the philanthropic, visionary individuals, families, foundations and corporations whose support continues to benefit the University and the State of Israel. Donors to AFHU have their deeply valued gifts recognized in a variety of ways on Hebrew University's majestic Mount Scopus in Jerusalem.

Wall of Benefactors
The Wall of Benefactors is located at the southwestern tip of the Mount Sopus campus, overlooking the Old City and west Jerusalem. Inscribed on this wall are the names of the donors (or other name/s in accordance with the donors' wishes) and the state in which the donor resides (if they are Americans), or country of residence (for all non-American donors).  Recognition on the Benefactors' Wall is awarded for lifetime giving of $1,000,000 and over, given either by a one-time gift or cumulative gift, for any designation (physical facilities, research, scholarships and other projects).  AFHU will be honored to schedule a dedication ceremony in accordance with the donors' wishes.  Usually, several (or many) new inscriptions are dedicated during Hebrew University's annual International Board of Governors Meeting.
